Sent

"Sent" is the second book in The Missing series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It starts off where the last book ends. Jonah, Katherine, Chip, and Alex are hurtled back into 15th century England. They learn that Chip and Alex are the sons of Edward IV. The king had died and so Chip( alias Edward V) is suppose to be king of England. But from the night they arrive in London, an assassination attempt on the boys' lives is made. Afraid that they may drastically change history, the turn invisible. When Chip and Alex merge with a holder, called a tracer, they become their true self and are able to think as they would've in England. Confused and afraid, they leave their room. The rest of the city is getting ready for a party. The coronation is happening that very day, but Chip/Edward is suppose to be dead already. How could he be crowned if he didn't know about it. Once the get on a barge, they begin to feel the atmosphere of the people. Then they begin hearing shouts of "Long live the King!" The only problem, King Richard is getting crowned, not a King Edward.
